Athens Community Church is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance

Athens Community Church (ACC) is a community of believers who are striving to love God, love others, to take the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone who hasn't heard, and to make disciples who make disciples.  We invite you to join us on this journey.

ACC is a "come as you are" church.  You don't have to get dressed up on the outside or the inside to attend here.  Come as you are: broken, hurt, wondering, looking for a body to belong, to contribute, to experience the amazing journey of relationship with Jesus Christ together with others on the journey.

Our goal is to fulfill Paul's heart when he wrote in Ephesians 4:

"To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.  Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the wave, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.  From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows, and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."

We strive to help Christians mature in their faith and be involved in effective service for Jesus Christ.

ACC's Sunday Morning schedule is:

9:30 - Fellowship time
10:00 - Sunday Service
 

Our services are marked with contemporary worship, times of testimony, prayer, the preaching and teaching of God's Written Word, and practical application of the biblical truths in our modern lives.  

The coffee is free, and friendships are easy to make here!
